The Canon Pixma MG5722 Wireless Inkjet All-in-One is clearly intended for use as a multifunction home printer (MFP), with obvious lack of key office-centric features such as fax, Ethernet port, and automatic feeder document (ADF). Unlike many printers meant for home use, however, it offers high-quality text, making it a more than reasonable choice for lightweight use as a personal office printer or for multiple roles of home and office-office printers. Thanks to the high level of output quality, it is also our Editor of the MFP Award budget weighing heavily toward home use. Canon Pixma MG5722 is released with a price range of $ 99.99.
One of the nice surprises is that the $ 59.95 MG5722 on B & H Photo-Video-Pro Audio delivers significantly more handsome output than the Canon Pixma MG5620 Wireless All-In-One Printer Photo that is in the process of replacing the Canon line. It's also way out in front of most of the direct competitors.
To avoid confusion, you need to know that Canon offers two other printers that are said to be identical to the MG5720 except for the colors. In addition to the MG5720 comes in all black or all white options, you can get the same printer in black and silver as Canon MG5721, or white and silver as Canon MG5722. Everything in this review applies to all four iterations of the three models.
Basic stuff
The MG5720 measures 5.9 x18 x14.6 inches (HWD) and weighs 13 pounds 13 ounces. Basic MFP features are limited for printing, scanning, and copying. There is no USB Type A port or memory card slot, which means you can not print from USB key, PictBridge camera via USB cable, or memory card. However, like most other recent Canon Pixma models, the printer supports Wireless PictBridge, which Canon says is available on all the latest camera models that offer Wi-Fi. It is not available on any camera from other manufacturers.

Beyond the basics, the MG5720 offers mobile printing and scanning, as well as the ability to print from selected sites. Connect to your network using Wi-Fi, and you can both print from and scan for iOS, Android, and Windows and tablets via an access point on your network. You can also print through the cloud, assuming your network is connected to the Internet, and you can use Canon Print App on your phone or tablet to send print jobs directly to printers from a variety of sites including Dropbox, Google Drive, Facebook, Twitter and more again.
If you connect MG5720 to PC via USB cable, you will not be able to print via cloud or print directly from the website, but you can still print from and scan for mobile devices by connecting directly to the printer using Canon equivalent for Wi-Fi Direct.

paper handling goes touch beyond basics, with automatic duplexer. paper capacity of 100 sheets, which is enough for most personal use. For scanning, there is a letter-size flatbed, but no ADF.

How to install the driver for Canon PIXMA MG5722 :
