TSC Auto ID Technology Co., Ltd. (TSC), a leading innovator in the design and manufacture of thermal bar code printer, announced the introduction of the TA210 Series, an economical desktop thermal transfer printer that features rugged dual gear-driven motors and large 300 meter ribbon capacity. The new, faster TA210 Series is based on the popular TSC TA200 Series of desktop thermal transfer printers. The TA210 Series runs at speeds up to 5 inches per second and is 100% compatible with the older TA200 Series which it replaces.
A choice of two models
The TA210 Series offers two resolution options: the standard TA210 is a 203-dpi version featuring print speeds up to 5 inches per second and a higher resolution 300-dpi version. The TA310 300-dpi model is ideal for producing two-dimensional barcodes, fine text and small-graphics labels.
TSC's unique dual gear-driven motors that are capable of handling large capacity 300 meter ribbons and large rolls of media inside its sleek design are designed for many years of use. If the 5” interior label capacity is not enough, simply add an external media unwinder and the TA210 can easily handle 8.4” OD rolls of labels designed for expensive industrial label printers. TA210 Series design is quieter and lasts longer than its cheaper single motor competitors. The result is happier customers who enjoy the lowest cost of ownership of any thermal transfer label printer available.
Modular design for customized applications
The print mechanism and ribbon handler of the TA210 Series is a modular design. The module may easily be removed from the printer for use in kiosk or print and apply applications.
The TA210 Series offers a low initial price, uses the most cost effective supplies available, and is built to last. These virtually trouble free units feature a standard two-year warranty. Once you plug it in, you won’t have to worry about it.
The TA210 Series can print a wide variety of labels ranging from shipping labels to compliance and general purpose product identification labels and tags. Other applications include automobile service shops, walk-in shipping and mail centers, and inventory control for stock rooms.
