Two roll systems for maximum productivity The system can process the same or different width of paper up to 111.8 cm at the same time, as well as various types of materials, such as plain paper and coated paper. It is possible to change automatically from roll to roll without user intervention, which greatly increases productivity. Large collection baskets are made for long term and endless printing.
IPF840 ensures maximum productivity. This 111.8 cm / 44 "Printer for CAD and GIS applications in large print-to-pay and business environments offers high precision line rendering, clear color and high image consistency.
The 5 color system with reactive dye / dye inks provides vivid colors and sharp lines. Accuracy of the line ± 0.1% and the minimum line width of 0.02 mm ensures the highest accuracy. Printheads with 15,360 nozzles allow you to enjoy 2400 x 1200 dpi images for maximum impact. The latest magenta ink allows clearer images and live posters.
Exceptional image quality with maximum productivity: Draft print takes just 42 seconds in DIN A0 or 22 seconds in DIN A1. The high-performance 330 and 700 ml tank "Hot Swap" used can be changed for on-the-fly productivity, on-the-fly, and seamless printing saves time during finishing. 2 rollers for flexible work with different substrates and sizes.
The cost per print and total cost of the printer can be determined using the integrated accounting features. Data can be viewed through the printer driver or exported to a CSV file and reused. Integrated molding modes are ideal for rapid test plots and help significantly reduce overall manufacturing costs and ink consumption.
IPF840 has been designed to be seamlessly integrated and works perfectly in most of the demanding CAD workflows. Improved HP-GL / 2 support efficiently handles large files. The HP-RTL file format is also supported, and the AutoCAD-optimized Windows drivers are also included. It has improved the administration and security system for larger large working groups with support from eMaintenance, the ability to lock control panel and SNMP V3 protocol.
The built-in 320GB hard drive allows you to set up mailboxes when the device is used by multiple users, for example in highly productive enterprise environments. With a large graphical user interface, the system is very easy to use and easy to use.
Ready for cloud services, iPF840 includes support for Direct Print & Share, Print Utility for iPad and OCE Publisher Select (in autumn 2015) for more efficient print jobs. Plus, with the Microsoft Office Plugin, this solution can easily be connected to your office applications, and PosterArtist Lite makes for the perfect poster creation.

How to install the driver for Canon imagePROGRAF iPF840:
